i am wantin to build a 2.3 into a stroker. i know the 2.5 is just a stroked 2.3. will the 2.5 crank bolt right up and work or will i have to get it shaved down. would i need to keep the 2.3 piston rods or would i have to use the 2.5 piston rods. i know the pistons will swap right over. i read a few things and the only difference between a 2.3 and a 2.5 piston is the placement of the pin that attaches the piston to the rod. any help would be greatly appreciated.

after i get all that figured out lol i will get a head off a 83-85 (i believe) ranger since its a roller, and get it ported and polished. and buy a cam from www.esslingeracing.com (what size do you guys think i shoud go with??), possibly bored out 30 over. im gunna have a 2 bbl holley on top. so i will be riding with a bored,stroked and camed 2.3. how do you guys think it will run?? will it be a power house or just a little better than stock lol it will be infront of either a C4 or a T5 and a rear end with either 4.11 gears.
